The Daily Kos web site has a nice useful widget for registering to vote, so I lifted their HTML code and used it here:
No matter what your politics are you should vote, which means you need to be registered to vote, and this widget makes it easier to do so.
I tried it and since I'm a Washington resident it told me the conditions that need to apply so that I can register on-line and provides a link for doing so. If you need to vote by mail it will take your info (and with auto-fill in some browsers that's pretty easy) and offer to print out the mail-in form. Definitely a useful tool, please share it with your family and friends, both virtual and real.
